John 9:35-38

When Jesus heard what had happened, he went and found the man. Then Jesus asked, “Do you have faith in the Son of Man?” He replied, “Sir, if you will tell me who he is, I will put my faith in him. “You have already seen him,” Jesus answered, “and right now he is talking with you.” The man said, “Lord, I put my faith in you!” Then he worshiped Jesus.

It all began with faith.

Pero kung willing mong i-acknowledge ang iyong spiritual blindness, you will see.

He gives you time to process what happened to you. Dahan-dahan mong mauunawaan. The miracle served as an opening for the greater sight of knowing Jesus as the Messiah. Those that believe will see.

SA TAMANG ORAS

John 2:1-4

…Mary, the mother of Jesus, was at a wedding feast in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus and his disciples had also been invited and were there. When the wine was all gone, Mary said to Jesus, “They don’t have any more wine.” Jesus replied, “Mother, my time hasn’t yet come!…”

TOO MUCH FREEDOM

Galatians 5:13

My friends, you were chosen to be free. So don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do anything you want. Use it as an opportunity to serve each other with love.

Freedom is a very precious commodity but not everyone really grows old enough to handle it well. Too much freedom really leads to wild living, to physical and spiritual degradation. It also leads to sadness, worry, and to loss of wealth.

God has designed us to be free. When we break free from people that God has assigned to us to have relationship with–magulang, kapatid, kaibigan, kapatiran–para lang masunod ang gusto natin, pinapayagan natin si Satan to destroy us.

MOVEMENTS

Psalm 149:3
Praise his name by dancing and playing music on harps and tambourines.

Movement is a sign of life. Mayroong external movement. Mayroon ding internal movement. Kahit hindi gumagalaw ang tao, something circulates inside us. Tumitibok ang puso, gumagalaw ang bituka, dumadaloy ang dugo. Even the heavenly bodies have non-stop movement in choreographed arabesque. Kumikilos ang lahat. Kaya naman hindi kataka-taka na ang worship ay may movement because life is movement, movement is life. We lift hands, we clap, we bow, we kneel. We wave banners to dramatize and exaggerate movements so that they may be even more appreciated. All of that as acts of worship are sacred movements. Kaya nga ang ultimate movement of worship is dance. Dance is to movement as music is to sound. It is a very high form of art and definitely a very spiritual way to worship God who is the God of movement.

When David’s wife, Michal, berated him for dancing before the Lord, she became barren.

Psalm 50:6
The heavens announce, “God is the judge, and he is always honest.”

We can thank God for the unpleasant things that happen to us especially when we deserve them.

We must also be thankful for the unpleasant things that happen to us because we need them. Kailangan nating maging aba at dumanas ng kabiguan para magkaroon tayo ng compassion for those who fail. Everything that happens is a blessing to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
