Death sets man free. Nagpapalaya ang kamatayan. Pinapalaya mula sa katawan, sa alabok, o sa lupa ang espiritu ng Dios na unang-una ay ibinigay sa tao, subalit dahil sa kasalanan, nakulong sa isang katawan na hindi karapat-dapat pagsidlan nang matagal. Sin has turned our temple, meaning our body, into a prison. Dapat sana ang katawan ng tao na nilikha ng Dios ay maging bintana, pinto, daluyan, at daan nya patungo sa Paraiso. All the senses of the body were given by God to be our entry point into a sensuous paradise that he has created for us. But the very same door that should have been used for the entry of God-approved and God-designed pleasure into our lives was used by Satan as the entry point for corruption.
Ano ngayon ang nangyari? Dumumi ang sisidlan ng espiritu na ibinigay ng Dios sa tao at hindi nya papayagang mamalagi ito doon nang matagal. God’s spirit in man could not be allowed to live forever in such a corrupted state. May mga taong nagkakaroon ng terminal illness na sobrang sakit kaya’t kung minsan hinihiling na nilang mamatay. Ganun ang naging kalooban ng Dios tungkol sa espiritung galing sa kanya. Hindi dapat magtagal sa katawan dahil mahirap ang ganung kalagayan. And the solution of God in his infinite wisdom is death.
